Why "No Chemistry" is Often Just a Motivation Clash
Why is it that we sometimes don't understand a colleague at all, struggle to connect with them, or even find them irritating?
Why is one colleague enthusiastic about a change project, while another is stressed out by the very same thing?
Why isn't the team pulling together, even after receiving all the necessary training?
In many cases, the answer is simply: "The chemistry isn't right."
In reality, this feeling often stems from a lack of awareness about our motivators. We are unfamiliar with our own core drivers, let alone those of our colleagues. As a result, our motivators often clash, making effective collaboration impossible.
What is the Benefit of Team Building Based on Motivational Maps®?
This training moves beyond surface-level issues to deliver tangible results:
-
Clarity: Understanding the team's motivational structure and how well it aligns with achieving company goals.
-
Collaboration & Conflict Resolution: Exploring the motivational root causes of interpersonal friction and designing a plan to resolve them.
-
Individual Growth: Defining personal motivational strategies and paths for development.
-
Performance: Increasing both individual effectiveness and overall team performance.
During the workshop, team members will learn the Motivational Maps® method, recognize the importance of motivation, and identify their own motivators as well as those of their teammates. This fosters a deeper understanding of what matters to others and how each person contributes to the common goal, fundamentally improving collaboration.
TEAM MOTIVATION BOOST EXPERIENCE
After completing the Motivational Maps® assessment, armed with accurate individual and team maps, the real work begins.
Through interactive small-group and full-team discussions, participants will playfully learn and experience the importance of motivation. They will get to know the Motivational Maps® method, gain clarity on their own profiles, their colleagues' profiles, and the team's overall motivational dynamic.
Crucially, the motivational reasons behind their relationships with each other will become clear.
Participants will leave with a concrete plan—at both the individual and team level—on exactly how they will increase their motivation and, consequently, their performance, all directly linked to their specific team goals.
